Nick has more than 30 years of legal experience, and brings a wealth of expertise and a deep commitment to the North Shore community. Nick specialises in residential and commercial property, general commercial work and anything else he finds interesting.

Working across a broad range of property clients, Nick deals very closely with a number of real estate agent branches. His Masters degree focused on real estate agents and their role in property law.

As a noted expert in property law, Nick is frequently sought after for his insights and has been quoted in the media on various legal property matters. He is also a highly regarded teacher for the New Zealand Law Society and has presented many seminars and teaches an annual course for them. In addition to his extensive property law experience, Nick is well-versed in commercial law and trust matters, and has a background as a former litigator and police officer. This diverse experience has honed his ability to identify and resolve complex legal issues with efficiency and skill.

Nick also has a unique personal touch—he studies Mandarin and enjoys using his conversational skills to engage with clients from diverse backgrounds.

Jim founded the firm more than 30 years ago, and also brings a wealth of expertise and a deep commitment to the North Shore community. Jim has deep knowledge in commercial law and property matters and his valued clients appreciate his common sense approach, and the personal touch that he brings to their legal matters. This is recognised through his many trustee and executor roles.

Jim has a strong association to Northcote and North Harbour rugby and has previously represented the senior North Harbour Rugby team.
